Why is it so great? When I was looking for a One Great Sentence dealing with immigration, I was struck by the differences between America’s two presidents named Roosevelt. And what did Teddy Roosevelt say? “Every immigrant who comes here should be required within five years to learn English or leave the country.” Sound familiar to another, more recent president?
