Bruce Gillespie is an assistant professor in the journalism program at Wilfrid Laurier University in Brantford, Ont., Canada. He’s also the co-editor of two anthologies of life writing: “Somebody’s Child: Stories About Adoption” and “Nobody’s Father: Life Without Kids.”
