Ken Fuson worked as a newspaper writer for 27 years, most of it at the Des Moines Register and The Sun in Baltimore. During his career he won several national awards, including the ASNE Distinguished Writing Award, The Ernie Pyle feature-writing award and the National Headliner Award. He lives in Des Moines and works as a free-lance writer.
