I’m thankful for my community of fellow writers — always, but even more so lately. This job can be so isolating, and since I’m also geographically isolated up in the Yukon, the virtual water cooler (Twitter, Slack, email…) is all the more important to me. Digital connection is a lifeline; when I get a chance to meet up with like-minded folks in person, talk shop and nerd out, that’s best of all.I am also grateful that the check is, apparently, in the mail.
